Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Apex Studio Group Inc. (“Apex Woodshop,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form an agreement between Apex Woodshop and you, the customer (“you” or “your”). By purchasing from us, visiting our shop, or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Our goal is to provide quality, custom hardwood products with transparency and respect. Please read these Terms carefully before engaging with us.

1. Ownership of Products and Content

All designs, photographs, product descriptions, logos, and trademarks displayed on our website or in our marketing materials are the property of Apex Woodshop and may not be copied or used without written permission.

2. Orders and Custom Work

  • Orders for stock items will be fulfilled based on current inventory.
  • Custom orders (including trims, moldings, stair parts, cabinet doors, and furniture) are made to specification. Once production has begun, custom orders cannot be canceled or refunded.
  • We take pride in accuracy and quality, but minor variations in color, wood grain, or finish are natural and not considered defects.

3. Payments

  • Payment is required in full prior to pick-up or delivery unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Apex Woodshop accepts standard forms of payment (credit such as VISA, Mastercard, and American Express, debit, cash, or approved business terms).
  • All prices are in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated.

4. Warranty and Returns

  • Stock items may be returned within 14 days if unused, in original condition, and accompanied by proof of purchase. Apex reserves the right to refuse any request for a return without its mandatory approval.
  • Custom products are final sale.
  • Wood is a natural material — expansion, contraction, and grain variations may occur. Apex Woodshop is not responsible for natural changes once products leave our facility.
  • Apex Woodshop does not cover damage caused by improper installation, misuse, or modifications after purchase.

5. Safety and Installation

  • Some products (such as stair parts or railings) may require professional installation. Apex Woodshop is not responsible for injuries, damages, or defects caused by improper handling or installation.
  • Customers are encouraged to follow all building codes and safety standards applicable in their region.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apex Woodshop will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the use, installation, or purchase of our products. Our liability will not exceed the purchase price of the item in question.

7. Privacy

We respect your privacy. Any information collected through our website or in person (such as your name, contact details, or order information) will only be used to process your order, improve our services, and communicate with you. We will never sell your information to third parties.

8. Changes to Terms

Apex Woodshop may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on our website, and your continued business with us will mean you accept any changes.
